Anna.
My own way.

A story can become a book, an image, a film. Or a night on the dance floor.

I’m Anna Laurila, a writer, artist and musician. I move between words, images and sound, following the ideas that won’t leave me alone.

From 1999 to 2011, I worked in the graphics department at Stockholmsmässan, Stockholm’s exhibition and convention centre, as a graphic designer, project manager and production manager. In 2007–2008, I led the development of new signage guidelines together with Rosenbergs Arkitekter, as well as the introduction of digital signage at the venue.

After more than a decade at Stockholmsmässan, I left and started driving buses. I needed work that didn’t follow me home — a job where the working day actually ended. But I never stopped creating.
